Each year, the Tampa Bay Business Journal recognizes the 50 fastest-growing companies in the area by naming them to their Fast 50 list. The 2021 list includes Imperium Data.
To qualify for the Fast 50, a company needs to be privately held, locally-owned (in the Tampa Bay area), and have a for-profit designation. The publication based the list on revenue growth from 2018 to 2020, and candidates needed at least $1 in revenue in 2018 or $5 million in 2020.
Nominations were held earlier in the year and the verification process was stringent, ensuring all companies named to the list were deserving of the designation. Businesses were required to verify their numbers with outside auditors or provide proof on their corporate tax returns. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reviewed the submitted information and announced the Fast 50 members in June.
Founded in 2018, Imperium Data is a provider of IT technology, talent, and services for businesses, governments, and education systems. Its corporate philosophy has been one dedicated to understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service, and disrupting the traditional IT hardware model that kept profits high and limited choices for customers. Imperium Data interacts with its customers directly, delivering the network hardware they need (while avoiding costly products they don’t) and helping them improve their IT infrastructure. The end result is a strong relationship that allows customers to grow their business without being limited by their own technology or buying configurations that aren’t necessary. That business model has allowed Imperium Data to enjoy strong growth and earn a spot in the Fast 50 for 2021.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal honors the Fast 50 recipients at a special presentation event each year. The 2021 event will be held virtually on July 29 at 11 a.m. EST. For more information about the Fast 50 and event streaming information, visit the Tampa Bay Business Journal here.
