Imperium Data's Origin

A story from our founder

In July 2018, I left on a cross-country road trip with a six-day-old company, a business card that read “National Sales Executive,” and no safety net.

Nick and I had emptied our retirement accounts to start Imperium. He was converting his garage into our first distribution center while I was on the road meeting prospective customers — most of whom said no.

Three said yes.

By the end of that year, we had shipped over $800,000 in network infrastructure out of that garage.

From day one, Imperium was built on ownership.
No outside capital. No safety cushion. No room for fragmented accountability.

We designed the solution, delivered it ourselves, and stood behind every outcome.

That operating discipline still defines us today.
